Excessive dynamic airway collapse (trachea, mainstem bronchi) and bronchomalacia (right anastomosis)
-The first photograph, taken during inspiration, shows a normal diameter of the trachea and a permeable right anastomosis.
-In the second photograph, taken during expiration, the posterior wall of the trachea and the mainstem bronchi bulges inwards causing excessive narrowing. An almost complete occlusion of the right anastomosis is observed during expirium.
